Is fear and tradition to explain why someone older (someone with balanced healthy life themselves) says that relationships are wrong', but life says, love and care is right'.nHow do you resolve that emotional conflict or when you (mutual) love someone, but cannot? Thanks. I thought maybe I'd get some insight from another perspective.

There's nothing wrong with love. Just make sure your relationships are healthy: you're both giving Consistently & never fighting. It's normal for parents to over worry that you'll get hurt by love sex. Show them how level-head you are by not letting love overrule your head. Make a list of what you want in a guy & some self-imposed guidelines. If that doesn't impress them with your maturity, say , look , I'm going to be on my own soon & if I don't practice independence now when ?
