How can I stop feeling guilty for not following the path/expectations/perceived expectations of friends & family and be at ease with how I live and what I do with my time? So I didn't go to a top school, get a job in my exact major, or work all the time like a lot of people my age, but I am doing well in my career and am very happy. Why do I always seem to think I should be doing something else and can not be at ease doing what I am doing that I love??

It's not your fault that the people around you are bitchy, (unless you're fooling yourself & aren't genuinely happy), but you are certainly permitting them to treat you that way. Unfortunately while tolerance is wonderful, in this case you are allowing them to drain your confidence. See these friends & family less frequently if they won't stop.
