You have to take care of you first. Once you have a happy, centered, fiscally stable life, think about friend, family, & strangers who need help. Don't give in a way that's unsustainable. If you give 5 hours a week and 2% of your income that's enough. Any more you can do is generous, a good idea if sustainable.
