“Why do my trace route packets almost always get dropped right before the destination? Comcast’ asdfadsf ”

Why do my trace route packets almost always get dropped right before the destination? Comcast's routers appear to forward to other Comcast routers successfully. But when time to leave the nest, it fails. It appears to happen later in the process, but I'm uncertain this actually happens to other people
