Explain to her how it would impact your life as you see it. How much money would she have to pay you to get you to agree? Is there some creative idea (garage only, or start a cat sitting service, or get a non-shedding cat) that would address your concerns? Ultimately, you can veto anything but negotiating a win-win is better.n:)
