If you’re consistently good to each other & never fighting, then it’s good & you don’t need to make an apology. There are plenty of old immature people & plenty of young mature people. Age simply isn’t that important. If you speak matter – of- fact, don’t make it a big deal. If they want to overreact, make that their problem.
