It’s important that you love your mother, but you have to love yourself too, and that means following your dream & staying independent. Kids are an exception, I suppose, but your mother is not a child and you can support her in other ways than dressing and bathing her. Get her into a good nursing home, visit her enough to be giving, and live life to the fullest for yourself. Don’t let people guilt you otherwise. Every generation wants the next to soar – or should.
