Maybe it’s time to renegotiate. Why do so many people feel it’s a waste to rent (pay someone else’s mortgage) but not a waste to work for someone else’s company (stock value)? Work out with your woman a living situation where she can follow her dreams & you can follow yours. (If her dream is to be idle, you might need a new woman.) Start a services business. They’re easier to bootstrap than having to first build & then sell a product.
