Feelings are a shorthand for rational decision-making… something that can often go awry. It’s something I think about whenever I’m compelled to eat an entire bag of chips.

 Why doesn’t the moon fall? It doesn’t feel right that gravity doesn’t apply, but that doesn’t make it true. It also doesn’t feel right that things should just exist. So what?
